Sharp Reservation in Dutchess County is a remarkable nature preserve, where  the splendor of the earth meets the beauty of the day in the spacious outdoors and special cabin at Camp Tommy which assisted these students in learning and celebrating
what it means
to serve their schools &
communities in very special way.

Established in 1947 by Rollo Ross this school for children with special needs is a residential, animal - assisted and nature based therapeutic program and community organization treatment center creating a wonderful venue for

with the Ringing of Bells!!

ONE OF FOUR PEACE POLES PLANTED AND PEACE GARDEN BEING MADE!

Beautiful day in Newburgh, NY at the Pergula, top of the park overlooking the majestic Hudson River. Lots of collaboration/cooperation with donations from the Newburgh Rotary/Peace Prayer Society & Home Depot. 4 HS Camp girls and several boys helped us dig the hole for the pole and holes to plant perennials beginning to give
this site a magical touch!

Celebrating the service of two special Passing Peace Activists: Toshi Seeger, 91, wife and motivator of Pete Seeger for 70 years & John McConnell, 96 Founder of Earth Day in 1970.

Join Service Groups like the Newburgh Rotary, R. Dist. 7210, Youth Empowerment Center YEC and others; Mount St. Mary's Rotaract, NFAH. Interact group and other school groups, Interfaith groups and neighborhood social organizations ...etc for a morning that shows unity in community building awareness and understanding of each other through dialogue, song and sharing a purpose of friendship in peace and sacred service. HELPED RAISE OVER $7000 FOR FAMILY PROMISE OF THE HV

The collaboration of the Newburgh Rotary Club with Rotary Dstrict 7210 along with Pax Christi, St Marys, Fishkill, Men's Fellowship and Gods Tym Youth Group and Interfaith Memebers and Friends of Family Promise made this the best Promenade For Peace so far. Next year the event will be on the International day of Peace Sept 21st. Join us you will be gald you did!
